First game of the new season and Matador took their 
time before turning on the style. Great turn-out meant 
no place for stand-in ‘boss’, Martin as Joerg was off in 
the land of Oz. Impressive performances all round 
though. Impressive debut from Faizal. Good to see 
Vincent back in action and great goals from Ben. 
 Went a goal behind early on but after Thano pulled that 
back, Matador went on to score a few to put daylight 
between the two teams. Cai was unfortunate not to find 
the back of the net but it did not affect the score-line to 
much. All the lads kept their cool when it started to get 
a bit heated in the second half. 
Overall – a great performance against a team that could 
well be there or there abouts in the final shake up.
